ATA Architects & Planners was born from Austin Tao & Associates Inc., a St. Louis, USA based design firm founded by Austin Tao in 1980. Having Practised for over 30 years in the United States, Mr. Tao, his designs, and his firm have been recognized, respected, and decorated as one of top in their field. In 2004, A representative office was established in Beijing and has grown to become the current office of ATA Architects & Planners. In 2008, Austin Tao & Associates merged with the Architecture Firm in St. Louis, The Lawrence Group, Inc. ATA Architects & Planner remains independently operated. Since then, two other Studios of ATA have been established in Chile and the United States.
ATA Studios are efficiently operated and closely managed by its founding Principals and the Studio’s Design Directors. Each studio focuses on specific issues and the demands from the local markets, carrying projects from conceptual planning to design implementation. Benefiting from our global network, ATA is capable of providing creative ideas to our clients, bringing the best resources to any given project.
