ATA Traveling Fellowship

Founded in 2011, the ATA Traveling Fellowship was developed to support students from partnered universities within China. This Fellowship encourages students to explore the world through experiencing and observing the built environment and develop the ability of independent thinking. Applicants are required to submit a proposal consisting of a detailed travel plan and school work portfolio. Recipients are selected by a group of jurors from partnered institutes and ATA, based on the quality of their proposals and commitment to social life and environmental issues from designers’ perspective. Within two months of completion of their travel, Fellows should submit a final report and give presentation to their colleges.
