Dongli Lake Wetland Park was published in Landscape Design (Issue 1, 2012).
Abstract
The uniqueness of this project comes from the full integration of human and natural habitat. Located in the center of an urban development site, this wetland park is a 100% self-sustaining storm water system as well as a large residential park. A highly sensitive environmental approach was taken in the planning and design, making it a good demonstration of how restoration and preservation of nature may coexist with urban development in rapid growing Asian cities.
